Introducing ANiMA A1
The ANiMA A1 is a compact industrial selective laser melting system, with open parameters and materials, developed for metal additive manufacturing in research environments and production floor support.
The system is engineered and assembled in Greece, reflecting the growing momentum of advanced manufacturing and additive technologies within the Greek industrial ecosystem. It is based on a proven powder bed fusion platform. It is designed to produce dense metal parts with stable and repeatable mechanical properties using high-quality components sourced from established European suppliers.
The system combines a controlled build environment, precise laser exposure, and industrial capabilities in a footprint suitable for workshops and laboratories.
Although compact, the ANiMA A1 follows the same process principles as larger industrial SLM systems, meeting European industrial standards for safety, reliability, and process control. It operates under an inert gas atmosphere, uses an industrial fiber laser, and supports controlled powder reuse. This allows it to be used for functional parts and tooling, not only for prototyping or research purposes.
