Staying at the forefront of the rapidly changing industry of 3D printing.

Formnext 2025 was another great milestone for ANiMA. As this is our 4th time attending, we were more than happy to share our newest technologies and connect with the global additive manufacturing community.

Micro-Scale Printing, AI, and Material Flexibility Take the Spotlight

This year’s Formnext showed a clear trend in the 3D printing world: companies want machines that can produce much smaller, more detailed parts and can print with more types of metal materials.

Of course, the integration of non-biological intelligence into operations continues to be a major focus across the industry. We were especially excited to see the growing interest in AI-driven technologies, which align closely with ANiMA’s focus and vision for the future of additive manufacturing. These topics came up in nearly every conversation, and our team was proud to showcase the solutions we are developing to address them.

Introducing the iSLM80P Ultimate by ZRapid

ANiMA and ZRapid showcased parts printed with the iSLM80P Ultimate, and they quickly became a highlight at our booth, drawing people from diverse industries to see the precision and detail up close.

The iSLM80P Ultimate introduces ultra-fine, micron-level 3D printing to the market, filling a crucial gap for industries such as electronics, biomedicine, and aerospace. It enables companies to create parts with a level of detail and complexity that was previously impossible.

Key features:

  • Precision: Achieves up to 5μm accuracy, making it ideal for creating intricate, detailed parts.
  • Advanced Design Freedom: Offers the ability to print some parts without supports, saving material and simplifying post-processing.
  • Great Surface Quality: Produces parts with smooth finishes, reducing the need for additional refinement.
  • Versatile Applications: From medical implants and precision molding to microelectronics and aerospace components, this industrial 3D printer can handle complex designs.

Scaling Metal 3D Printing: iSLM350D for Production

At the heart of our booth, the iSLM350D Ultimate, paired with the AFS350 Metal Powder Circulation Unit, drew strong attention from visitors focused on production applications.

The iSLM350D Ultimate is an industrial-grade metal 3D printer designed for high-volume, high-quality production. With a large build volume, advanced gas recirculation, and Dual Laser, it enables efficient, cost-effective manufacturing of complex metal parts. Industries such as aerospace, automotive, industrial, and medical benefit from its precision and reliability, making it an ideal solution for scaling production processes.

ANiMA 3D A1 – Designed for Research and Production

At this year’s exhibition, visitors experienced the ANiMA 3D A1, a system designed for flexibility in both research and production. One of its key advantages is its compatibility with the Build Volume Reducer (BVR) module, which allows small-scale builds and supports advanced testing of different metal powders and alloys. This makes it an excellent choice for innovators and researchers who need precise control over materials and printing parameters.

The A1 is also built to fit smoothly into production environments, offering strong value, reliability, and versatility.

Key Features:

  • Adjustable Build Volume: Easily adapt the build size to match every project, small parts for research, or larger components for production.
  • Top-Quality Components: Built with premium parts to ensure consistent accuracy, stability, and repeatable results.
  • Modern, Compact Design: Fits neatly into labs or production spaces while still delivering industrial-level performance.

Continuing the Conversation Beyond Formnext

Formnext 2025 has been an amazing experience, and we want to thank everyone who stopped by to meet us, exchange ideas, and explore the future of additive manufacturing together. Your interest, questions, and feedback made the event truly memorable.

We look forward to keeping these conversations going, developing new collaborations, and continuing to advance what’s possible in metal 3D printing. If you would like more information about our work, would like to discuss an application, or want to stay connected, we’d love to hear from you.

Looking forward to seeing you again at Formnext 2026!
